- Conductors: 4 twisted pairs (8 wires total) made of pure copper (not CCA – Copper-Clad Aluminum) for better conductivity.
- Insulation & Jacket: PVC or LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) for durability and fire safety.
- Twist Rate: Tighter twists compared to Cat5e, reducing crosstalk (XT) and alien crosstalk (AXT).
- RJ45 Connectors: Gold-plated for better signal transmission and corrosion resistance.
- Backward Compatibility: Works with Cat5e, Cat5, and Cat3 networks.
